John Read the Room Perfectly

John played a small, private event for me and struck a wonderful balance between story telling and his playing and singing.

He entertained us with his anecdotes, original songs and the finger-picking of his guitar. He made us feel like old friends - I feel like he really read the room well, picked songs and stories accordingly, enhancing the experience for the audience.

John was very easy to work with during the booking process and quick to respond to any inquiries that I had. With only a few days notice before the show, he was open to learning a song I requested (and nailed it when he played it). During the show, he was very gracious to step away from the spotlight when one of our guests asked to play a song for our group.

I definitely intend to have John entertain us again at future events.
